Create Great Continuing Education Courses
March 29 – April 1, 2012
This 2.5 day course leads you through the fundamentals of good course development for adult learners. It covers the entire process, from defining your learning objectives and audience, through the actual course design, development of evaluation tools, presentation techniques, and different learning styles. You will have an opportunity to practice-present a unit from an existing course or one you'd like to develop. It will also include an overview of the NCBTMB approved provider application process if you are interested in offering your continuing education to massage therapists.

If you have an existing course you'd like to improve, if you have an outline for a class you're ready to develop, or if you just have an idea for a course bring them! Work on what's real to you.

Taught by Clare Reece-Glore, a training specialist with more than 25 years of experience designing and teaching workshops for working professionals.

Taxes & Bookkeeping For Healing Arts Professionals
In this 2-day course, Margo Bowman will walk you through filing your annual and quarterly taxes, keeping good records, and doing appropriate bookkeeping for a healing arts practice. She will also introduce you to your options for incorporation, helping you understand when you do (or don't) need to incorporate and how to choose among your options. This class will help you appreciate how to do all of these activities to your best advantage and help you understand why seemingly minor details can make such a difference for your business.
In recognition of most participants' general unease with this subject matter, Margo always teaches with patience, humor, and compassion.
